那天去攝影棚樓下接河智苑，她告訴我上一次她來新加坡，已是十年前。那年她也受邀登上《品》封面，拍攝那天我因出差而錯過與她相見。
過去的十年，她經歷了輿論、傷痛，但沒有被打垮。
她放慢了生活，開始畫畫，還和姐姐一起創立美容品牌Pouch 24……素顏的她不戴墨鏡、鴨子帽，非常從容，極美。
這次的拍攝，她看了第一張照片就非常喜歡。她說，感覺類似她在新劇《Climax》中的角色，她飾演女藝人，卻帶一點悲傷。
攝影師Joel從河智苑的畫作攝取靈感，所以你看到的一些照片，她的臉似乎有倒影……她看了更是欣喜，爲Joel按摩肩膀，以表示“辛苦了”。
每個封面的拍攝，都來得不易，希望從這次的拍攝，你能看到寧靜美。

그날 나는 촬영 스튜디오 아래에서 하지원을 맞이했다. 그녀는 “지난번 싱가포르에 온 게 벌써 10년 전”이라고 말했다. 그해에도 《PIN》 표지에 초대되었지만, 나는 출장 때문에 촬영 당일 그녀를 만나지 못했다.
지난 10년 동안 그녀는 여론과 아픔을 겪었지만 결코 무너지지 않았다.
그녀는 삶의 속도를 늦추고 그림을 그리기 시작했으며, 언니와 함께 뷰티 브랜드 ‘Pouch 24’를 설립했다…… 민낯의 그녀는 선글라스도 모자도 없이 매우 여유롭고 아름다웠다.
이번 촬영에서 그녀는 첫 사진을 보자마자 마음에 들어 하며 “새 드라마 〈Climax〉 속 내 캐릭터와 비슷하다”고 말했다. 그녀는 여배우를 연기하지만, 그 안에는 약간의 슬픔이 담겨 있다.
사진가 조엘은 하지원의 그림에서 영감을 얻었기에, 몇몇 사진 속 그녀의 얼굴에는 마치 반영이 있는 듯한 효과가 담겨 있다. 그녀는 그것을 보고 더욱 기뻐하며 조엘의 어깨를 주물러 “수고했어요”라고 전했다.
모든 표지 촬영은 쉽지 않다. 이번 촬영을 통해 고요한 아름다움을 느낄 수 있기를 바란다.

That day, I went downstairs at the studio to meet Ha Ji-won. She told me the last time she had come to Singapore was ten years ago. Back then, she was also invited to grace the cover of PIN, but I missed seeing her on the shoot day because I was away on business.
Over the past decade, she has endured public scrutiny and personal pain, yet she was never defeated.
She slowed down her life, began painting, and even co-founded the beauty brand Pouch 24 with her sister. Barefaced, without sunglasses or a cap, she looked serene—and stunning.
During this shoot, she loved the very first photo she saw. She said it felt similar to her role in the new drama Climax, where she plays an actress tinged with sadness.
Photographer Joel drew inspiration from Ha Ji-won’s paintings, so in some of the images her face appears almost reflected. Seeing this delighted her even more; she massaged Joel’s shoulders in gratitude, saying, “You’ve worked hard.”
Every cover shoot is hard-won. From this one, I hope you can glimpse the beauty of quietude.

For Ha Ji-won (@hajiwon1023), being an actor means fully inhabiting another soul. Painting, however, is entirely different—there is no set role, no one to portray. In front of the canvas, it is only you and your most honest thoughts.
After decades on screen, leaving behind countless classics, she picked up a paintbrush ten years ago and opened another way of conversing with the world. She describes acting as collective creation, while painting is a solitary process of carrying all the weight alone.
With her works selling out at the KIAF Art Fair, she not only achieved a successful transformation but also rediscovered joy in artistic creation. She believes deeply in the power of looking back—distilling energy from the paths she has walked—and says she now carries more responsibility than she did in her younger years.
